I went from being an unpaid intern to a paid research assistant so I did not have a formal interview. I would recommend coming very prepared for interviews at Rush. Typically when we hire for a position a person will interview with at least 3 people to determine their fit within our group. Normally there is a second interview. Jobs at Rush tend to be difficult to come by so interviews are given at a employee referral basis mostly.
Interview was conducted over zooom with multiple interview stages with varying levels of the department, from research assistants, to coordinators, to the PI. Questions were a mix of behavioral and surrounding background of my research experience.
