I applied online through the website as a student of Rutgers University. I received an email about an in person interview and was selected by project mentor. Discussed about resume and past experiences dealing with research. It was not that hard due to the direct needs I met with the current research project.

How do your past experiences meet the needs of our current project?
The interview process was simple and direct. There wasn't anything out of left field and the process took about as long as I would expect. Typical of what you would expect for an academically aligned interview.
it was EFFECTIVE and STRAIGHTFORWARD. The professor there helped me every step of the way and all the steps for the future were explicitly clear. Great communications skill is an absolute must for getting admission.
The inter view straight foward and relaxed. We sat, in person, in an office room and the total interview process lasted around twenty two minutes. I felt good about the whole process.
