I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at SAP (Palo Alto, CA) in Sep 2016
Interview
Was a nightmarish experience, to say the least! For a job role that's rooted in creative freedom and expression, the team felt extremely rigid and dry. It was 2 hours of pure grilling, with presumptive questions and a tone of judgment predominant throughout. The hiring manager seemed like a complete task master and micro-manager. I spoke with a user researcher who was new on the team and her line of questioning was plain obnoxious. I turned them down right after the interview.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at SAP (Vancouver, BC) in Jun 2020
Interview
Initially met with the recruiter, then to the manager.
4 rounds in total - didn't get the job. Nice people. Interview process seemed far too drawn out and uncertain of what they were after.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at SAP (Shanghai, Shanghai) in Mar 2020
Interview
At first, HR arranged a phone interview 2 days after the notification. The interviewer is another HR. So just some behavior questions, such as self-introduction, relevant experience introduction. The interview was very nice.
The process took 1 week. I interviewed at SAP (Shanghai, Shanghai) in Nov 2018
Interview
Firstly it was a call from the HR asking your past experiences and your basic skills, English skills, visions and plans of your career and anticipated payment. Then it was an on-site interview where a small group of candidates did a design project together in an hour before another one-to-one talk which lasted about 30-50minutes.
