      Interview

I applied online in March 2021. Entire process took 1-2 weeks. Once your resumes gets shortlisted you get to face online challenge. Once you score good marks in that then you get to have 2 technical rounds, 1 managerial then finally HR round. My whole process went butter smooth. Interviewers are quite intellectual and they know what they are asking and talking about. If you are a coding ninja, technical rounds should not a problem, but managerial round score completely depends on you personality and experience. You need to be very clear with your choice of job that you are willing to take. Your confidence and honest talk is your key to impress them. However your displayed coding strength in online test and technical rounds are main selling point TBH. Once all is clear, then you get to have HR round and your compensation requirements. They are also quite generous in compensation for which your interview rounds points and coding test score are important parameters. So try your best to ace it. Good luck. Hope this helps.

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at SAP (Brno) in Jun 2026

      Interview

3 rounds of interviews: quick prescreening call with HR, on-site meeting with the manager, and a tech call with the lead engineer. Prescreening was as usual. On the same day, I got a call from the manager and planned a second round for the next workday. The second round was the most important. First quick introduction, then easy puzzle, then 15 min of technical questions (OOP, basic programming principles, Relational DBs, etc) - pretty easy, nothing too deep. Then, about 40 minutes talk about previous experience, position, hobbies, and other basic topics. Very pleasant and friendly, good atmosphere. The third round was very quick - no live coding, a couple of architectural questions, static code analysis, and how to improve it (N+1 problem), SQL questions, overall around 10-15 minutes. Received an offer a couple of days after. The whole process was clean, friendly, and fast at every level.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

How would you add a new PK to a table with 1 million entries? What is OOP? Explain polymorphism. What is relational DB? What is an index?
