Interview
Contacted by Hiring Manager (HM) and scheduled phone interview for the following week.
HM called at set time/date. HM was polite. Interview started with tell-me-about-yourself and then HM asked questions about my experience, such as: "Can you give examples where you analyzed system/application performance?". Follow-up questions were asked for each of these. HM then asked to rate my experience/knowledge on different technologies.
After these technical questions, HM gave an overview of how the team is structured and what they're needs are. At this point, I knew I had a slim chance of getting the job since my experience on the major skills they needed are limited.
HM asked if I had any questions.
Afterwards, HM said that there are about 14 other people that will be interviewed on the phone and HR will get in touch. After a few months, I got a standard e-mail from HR saying position had been filled.
