Group interview with 8 people all with some to significant organizing experience. Round of random questions and then role play of a house visit. For Spanish speakers, role play was done in Spanish as well.

Interviewed by four people. Midway through the interview one of the interviewers decided to leave the interview. This exact same person right before the interview communicated that she had a number of strong applicants when replying by email and reiterated the same thing before the interview started. Neither she nor the other three interviewer's seemed interested or engaged in the interview process. Felt it was a waste of time throughout the entire process when one of the organizers yawned throughout the interview. Got a callback the next day and was advised that they were not going forward but that I qualified for the job. Then, she began to talk about other opportunities elsewhere at the national level and internal organizing with SEIU and would send me additional information. She never sent that information.
In the end, SEIU Local 105 plays the nepotism game of hiring and were just going through the motions throughout the interview process. I would advise you not to waste your time by applying at SEIU Local 105.
