I was referred by a former colleague and completed an initial video screening with the recruiter which went really well. However, I was disappointed to receive a rejection within just 48 hours stating that they were already in final offer negotiations with another candidate. I feel that this level of progress in their pipeline should have been communicated earlier to properly manage expectations.
