It was very friendly and reassuring. I was contacted from within the company so the HR manager I spoke to had all the knowledge about the job. The initial telephone interview was friendly, the following test was flexible in terms of what language I wanted to do it in. Then there was another telephone interview after which I had clear feedback on my strengths and weaknesses. That gave me an opportunity to prepare for the final interview. The final interview was also friendly - they checked all my previous "weaknesses" and said that there's a good improvement, then there were a couple of tests: programming and database where they were helping if I took the wrong "turn". No one was trying to show me that they know more than me, no tricky questions to check my stress levels and the HR manager always came back to let me know the outcome and what the next steps would be. Thanks to that it was easy - not the actual questions but the approach of the company to their recruitment process. BTW: great office, career progression routes, people and benefits. The only reason I didn't accept the offer because I was offered to work from home by another company and given I have 2 kids it was wiser to accept that.
