I went through three rounds of interviews. The first round was with a recruiter based in India. Unfortunately, the questions and information shared were not very relevant to the role — it felt like the recruiter hadn’t fully understood the hiring manager’s requirements. The second round was with his manager and another hiring manager. This session went well — they asked detailed questions about AR processes and current system issues. I shared my experience, including how I handled end-to-end flows from ticketing to accounting. After that, I was asked to complete a 15-minute quiz and an offline case study. Both were completed successfully, and I received an email from the recruiter congratulating me on moving to the final round with the CFO. The final interview with the CFO also went smoothly. He mentioned he would contact the recruiter for the next steps and hoped to see me on the team soon. However, after that, I never received any update — even after sending a polite follow-up email two weeks later. It has now been over two months with no response.
Overall, the interview process started well but ended very unprofessionally. Even a short rejection email would have been appreciated as a basic courtesy.
