I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at SLB
Interview
Contacted by a college recruiter to come in for a first round interview. They let me know right away that they wanted me to come in for a second round interview out in Midland, TX. The second round interview consisted of a group presentation, tour, team building activities, and exit interview.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at SLB (Houston, TX) in Nov 2013
Interview
I was referred so I just sat down with the regional manager for lunch and was hired the next day. It's really about who you know in this industry, which is the case with most sales jobs. I've applied to places for over a year online and heard nothing but once I met someone who was in the company, my resume was passed on and was hired within a week.
