First interview is mostly personality type questions, nothing about specific academic or professional experience. It was a 30 minute virtual interview. When joining the zoom call there were probably 20 other applicants at that time slot and we split into breakout rooms individually with the interviewers. Following the first interview, they may bring candidates on site for more detailed interviews, presentations and tests. The first interview is mostly the basic "typical" questions.
