I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at SLB in Feb 2024
Interview
Simple pleasant intros, and asked about experience. The interviewers then switched to quizzing me on basic CS fundamentals which is odd considering that it has been a decade since I've been in school. Received a brief coding challenge on a free code editor (it had me close an ad) so I believe this was added on the spot. At the end of the interview for questions I just gave the time back saying "I don't think this is a place I'd want to work", and they laughed. I pretty much ended the call feeling humiliated. The laughing was completely unnecessary, and unprofessional.
