Hired by professor after performance in one of their classes. Offered a position and took it at the end of the semester. Was given the optionto pursue as thesis but decided to take it on as a job.

They flew me into Dallas, got picked up, stayed at a hotel, got fed the next day and talked with all of the faculty in my department that were available. By the end of the day they had an offer ready for me for graduate tuition support and a graduate research stipend.
