I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at SQAsquared (Los Alamitos, CA) in Mar 2018
Interview
Applied online via online job board.
Had a phone screening then had an in person interview.
The in person portion consisted of a 1:1, a peer interview, grammar test, and coding challenge.
I applied online. I interviewed at SQAsquared in Feb 2023
Interview
The interview was around 45-50 minutes with 3 parts. The first part was to get to know you and ask more questions about the company, the second part was to test your current knowledge of QA and how to think like a QA analyst, and the last part was more technical with a bit of coding but you had to make sure you got all the customer's requirements but also identifying any possible issues or concerns. Overall, it was a different experience trying to think in terms of a QA analyst rather than a developer. It wasn't bad in my opinion. They're very upfront about everything, which I appreciated, but make sure to ask your own questions. Keep in mind that they would rather have a trainee living close to their company rather than commute from far away.
Applied on the company website, response and interview within a week.
Lengthy phone interview about the pillars of QA and what service SQA provides to clients.
2nd Interview a week later, basic QA questions related to requirements and design, then a coding question that gets spun into a QA question
