The interviewer is very professional, experienced and the company is very structured with plans for next 3-5 years. It's good to exchange opinions with the interviewer, it's definitely a good opportunity given though no offer given in the end.

One on one interview with the head of department. Definitely a boss and not a leader. A narcissistic individual who thinks very smart and important of himself throughout the interview. First red flag was when he kept interrupting when I was talking, making me feel like he wanted to have control of the conversation. I have always thought that interview is a two way conversation. Second red flag was when I shared my experience in response to his question about a challenging situation and he responded with a disrespectful comment that he will fire that person if that happens at his workplace. In my mind I was wondering is this the kind workplace culture you are trying to cultivate as a leader? Firing people just because of a minor oversight? Third red flag was he went about bad mouthing the current incumbent, commenting he is weird and etc. I also had to endure a ridiculous amount of nitpicking and it was such a relief when the session ended. I was grateful to have dodged a bullet by meeting and speaking to him in person. Imagine joining this organization and having him as my boss would be a disaster.
