I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ST Engineering (Singapore) in Jan 2024
Interview
Face-to-face with only one interviewer, I was asked to introduce myself and past projects I undertook to give a general overview of my skills, followed by one I intend to gain from this internship and what I would like to do with my newfound skills from this internship.
Generally, it was a great interview that lasted 2 & 1/2 hours and was nothing too technical, it was more of just a "get to know you" session, which included a short technical question on how you would solve an engineering problem.
All went well, and I was told that they'll follow up within two weeks, I was told that I was a great fit since I had more experience compared to the other applicants and that I was also willing to learn new things outside my comfort zone, I was also Singaporean which was needed since the job scope was defence related, it's been a month and I've been ghosted, I was not even rejected officially via my university internship portal which is why my experience is neutral.
