SUNY Buffalo Concert Manager interview questions

Worth noting is that prior to any contact from this potential employer (no phone call, no interview, not even an interview scheduled), my references were contacted. Have never had this happen before (nor have any of my friends or colleagues), and found this quite unprofessional and odd. Additionally, there was only one virtual interview to make a selection for this position, which also raised some flags. The contact for this position in the school of music also ghosted candidates (except the finalist) after the one and only interview. Given this was a 'final' round interview, this is frankly unprofessional and reflects poorly on the team. These were all telling of this being a less than desirable employer and team, which is unfortunate. In the end, glad to have avoided this, as small things like these can be telling to larger issues.
