I applied first for a position within the online programs division. I went through three rounds and they contacted my references. After a full month (it was the holidays), they contacted me and told me there was “nothing I could do better,” then recommended me for another job within the organization. I got the interview for this position almost immediately and things moved much faster. After a two and a half hour long interview, a writing task that I know I accomplished well, I was told they would be contacting my references immediately. This time, they called to let me know that even though it had been a few days “not to worry” as they had trouble contacting one of the four references. A few days later, I got a stock email (autogenerated poorly to boot as my name was typed twice). This came from a no reply email address. I tried to email the director who had been freely communicating with me for any kind of explanation, and I have received zero response. Absolutely rude and unprofessional.
