They rescinded offer after I tried to negotiate base compensation by $3,000 and asked for a later starting date. I had to go through not only 3 rounds of interview but also 1 prolonged and confusing assessment, which i think I did perfectly. The assessment took me almost 2 hours on a weekend - had a lot of math, graphics, logic + personality. BTW the whole timeline of their recruitment is also long - applied end of Jun and did not go through all the interview and assessment until mid August. When I tried to negotiate for a slightly higher pay and a later starting date - my offer got rescinded right away. Probably good cuz based on such behavior i have no trust in the personality of their Americas finance team or their culture. Seems to be an old school, corporate heavy company - not an ideal place to work if you wanna work in finance of a tech company.
