The interview process was relatively straightforward and moved quickly. However, a red flag emerged early on—they were insistent on knowing my current compensation before progressing to the next stage of the interview. Their questions seemed intentionally designed to exclude candidates and potentially minimize future offers.
During the offer stage, they presented an offer letter that included a requirement to sign an NDA and other disclosures, which appeared to claim ownership over any work I might produce, even outside of work hours. When I raised questions about these clauses, they abruptly rescinded my offer.
This company appears to prioritize automation and gives the impression of being focused on creating a positive employee experience, but in reality, that doesn’t seem to be the case. Their actions suggest a stronger focus on deterring employees from unionizing, which raises serious concerns. Additionally, during the hiring process, they mentioned plans to later reclassify the role of Senior HR Professional to an HR Generalist. If they wanted an HR Generalist, they should have hired someone with 1-2 years of experience, not sought out a senior professional.
Overall, I found this company’s practices to be underhanded and filled with red flags. I would advise others to approach with caution.
