Had a screening that went very well and was set up with an interview shortly thereafter. I had about a 50 minute interview with 2 ladies. One remote and one in person. I am hardest on myself, but I felt it went very well. I was assured they would get back to me the following week with who they decide to hire as well as a follow up with the one who screened me. I emailed a thank you letter as well. Fast forward to two full weeks and I have heard nothing from anyone. I had my phone set to take all phone calls as my iPhone was set to screen incoming calls before hand. When your interviewer tells you “for sure” we will call you next week- I take them at their word. Honestly, since it is two full weeks later with no response, if I was still offered the position I would not take it. That sends off a very poor communication style with a lack of follow through. That’s a strong red flag that says a lot and in turn a company I would not want to work for.
