Alright, before I dive into the actual interview process itself, I have to say something about the Futureforce recruiting staff. Kiley, Tiffany and Lauren were ABSOLUTELY amazing. I’ve never had such a smooth recruiting process where I can just call/email them anything and they would give me an answer right away. By far the most seamless process I have ever been part of. Alright, now on to the interview.
So I was referred to the company by a friend (they are big on referrals) back in December for the role. At the time, they were hiring grads that finished school by March 2018 and I finished in April so kiley, the recruiter, told me to reach back out to her in August. And so I did, but during the 8 months we emailed back and forth to keep in touch (I don’t think a recruiter at any other company would have done this) and she brought me through the process right away. The first round was a basic phone screen with the recruiter “why Salesforce <- BIG question)” “why sales” and the other big question was “how would you explain Salesforce to someone who doesn’t know what it is”. Once that was done, the recruiter told me on the phone that I moved on to the next round, which again was amazing cause it cut the anticipation of waiting right out. The next round was with a VP on the phone for 30 min, and again it was the same questions. One additional question was “why you? What would you bring to the table that other people won’t?” I didn’t have any “tell me about a time when...” questions, it was very conversational. After this round the recruiter called me two days later and offered me the job!
