I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce (Singapore) in Apr 2019
Interview
Engaged by the Hiring Manager about 1 week after I submitted my application. Passed the phone screen with the Hiring Manager and invited for an onsite interview. All happening around Apr 2019.
3 rounds of back to back onsite interviews with Hiring Manager, Snr Recruitment Coordinator and a Recruiter. I enjoyed the conversation with the 3 interviewers where they all very friendly and upfront about the company cultures and the role, from there I felt that I may stand a chance to be shortlisted but towards ending of the interview session when the Recruiter walk me out, she asked some personal questions and I was kinda too honest on answering those questions. Thinking about it, I might have ruined the interview by answering those questions that potentially raised some concerns on their end.
I was told that I should be received an update within 1-2weeks but after a month, I did not get any updates at all. Went to check the Job portal and found out the status of my application had changed to "No longer being considered". It got me to wonder did they decided not to proceed with me or system error? Very disappointed that I had to found out that way given the high reputation of the organization. After more than 1 month, I still didn't hear back from the HM or Recruiter about my application status(not even an automated rejection email...)
Overall, the process from the start of approaching candidate towards the arrangement of interviews are very professional and feels great. As for the keeping candidate updates/rejection process, I'm not sure if I was the one-off case but definitely need to improve more!!
