I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce in Nov 2013
Interview
Very thorough interview process. It started with a screening interview with a Pardot recruiter. Typical questions about your background. Next phase is to write up a response to 5 questions they send you. They are looking to see how much effort you put into it and they are looking to see your research skills. This took me an entire day to complete. Once you pass that phase, you will do a phone interview with a Sales director, typical interview questions, background, why you are wanting to interview with Pardot, etc. From there I had an in person interview, where two sales managers interviewed with more standard interview questions. The last phase is you meet with someone outside of the department you are interviewing for. They will ask you standard behavioral questions, like what are your hobbies, etc.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How do you position your current company against competitors? What percentage do you win deals over your competitors? What do you do in your free time? What do you know about Pardot?
Recruiter missed multiple interviews only to tell me they have no positions only.
6 months later I receive an interview invite with pay $20k lower than originally discussed
Manager arrives late to the interview then cuts the time early. Company seems disorganized and difficult to take seriously as a so called leader in SaaS.

Walk me through a deal example and how you won the opportunity.
pretty easy interview. Had to do a case. It felt like it was just a formality and they put me up to it to fit into their standard processes. Not the best experience but it is what it is
