I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Salesforce (San Francisco, CA) in Oct 2021
Interview
I was reached out to on LinkedIn by a recruiter. My initial call with the recruiter was about 30 minutes and we reviewed my experience, the position, and some specifics about my sales process. Next was a panel interview with 2 sales managers (either of which could be my sales manager). Within the first 10 minutes, I knew that it wasn’t a good fit and the remaining 50 were torture for everyone involved. One of the interviewers came across as arrogant and I couldn’t imagine working under them. They kept asking questions about value selling and when I returned the question of how they sell Salesforce value, they said “by being the leader in the industry.”
I wasn’t asked to the presentation which was fine because I don’t think this is the right position for me. Overall, I got the feeling they were proud to work for Salesforce (which is great!) and felt superior like they were the gatekeepers of Salesforce (which I guess they kind of are).
Recruiter missed multiple interviews only to tell me they have no positions only.
6 months later I receive an interview invite with pay $20k lower than originally discussed
Manager arrives late to the interview then cuts the time early. Company seems disorganized and difficult to take seriously as a so called leader in SaaS.

pretty easy interview. Had to do a case. It felt like it was just a formality and they put me up to it to fit into their standard processes. Not the best experience but it is what it is
