Interview
Unpleasant experience with hiring manager and panel interview.
Just want to share about the negative experience as interviewees prep and spend time on the case study only to not be graded exactly for the work - discovery, objection handling, solution and engagement.
Beware of core business - selling CRM-
The panel interviewers do not know what they want, already at the beginning, “the CEO” was confused that he is “the CIO”. Nobody called him out. The feedback given were absurd and not fair because not everyone is listening throughout. interview is a 2-way street. Nit picky and judge mental panel who doesn’t sound like they know the USPs of the product. Do not understand value selling and discovery. The way the panel interviewers made candidates feel uneasy is a bad sign that you won’t be set up for success.

Deal win review. If you were to turn back time, What could you have done differently?
Recruiter missed multiple interviews only to tell me they have no positions only.
6 months later I receive an interview invite with pay $20k lower than originally discussed
Manager arrives late to the interview then cuts the time early. Company seems disorganized and difficult to take seriously as a so called leader in SaaS.

pretty easy interview. Had to do a case. It felt like it was just a formality and they put me up to it to fit into their standard processes. Not the best experience but it is what it is
