I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce (New York, NY)
Interview
The interview was set for 30 minutes. It was a complete waste of time. I applied for a role I was more qualified for and then referred to another role(which I had no background in)to interview for. Salesforce is a social impact company, they have to remain compliant so they will interview you even if you do not fit the role. I may have satisfied a diversity requirement because I am considered to be a minority. The hiring manager didn't even look at my resume. If you don't think you qualify for the role fully, they may be just using you to fulfill their compliance requirements for interviewing. The recruiter created a sense of urgency and appeared to care about getting me an interview. She made promises of helping me find a role that may fit before my interview. After the interview she ghosted me. I actually took the time to prepare for the interview and learning about the products. They recommend you reach out to existing employees to ask them about the role, but they all ignore you as well, probably because they know the company will waste your time. Do a thorough assessment of your background, if you don't have background, they are wasting your time. Pass on the interview.

Manager arrives late to the interview then cuts the time early. Company seems disorganized and difficult to take seriously as a so called leader in SaaS.

pretty easy interview. Had to do a case. It felt like it was just a formality and they put me up to it to fit into their standard processes. Not the best experience but it is what it is
