      Collector Interview

      Jan 29, 2010
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Sallie Mae in Jan 2010

      Interview

The interview process consisted of standardized questions. While I do believe that you can get a good impression by that, the interview process was not as selective as it could have been. However, most other individuals, I have since found out, have been in multiple collection agencies and are experienced. Thus, the managers interviewing have either worked with them before or know someone who has. Therefore, making a selection does not necessarily require questions to exclude, but just create a mere formality allowing the same individuals in.
