I went through 6 interviews, over a period of more than a month. The first was with the hiring manager; once I got past this, I was asked to have 4 more interviews (with another CSM, a Sales Engineer, the group's VP and the local GM - all nice and highly experienced folks). The recruitment concluded with another hiring manager discussion (to wrap up and address any concern points arising from the previous interviews).
There was no technical test, no "prepare a presentation" task, just questions regarding my background or open discussions about the role/company/industry/etc.
This would have been a good experience overall had it not taken so long (almost 1.5 months); yes, one week was lost because of the end of year holidays, but the remaining 5...?
Most disappointing was that after the final interview I simply didn't hear from them; after 10 days I wrote to the hiring manager but he didn't reply; on the 11th I reached out to their recruitment team and they confirmed they had selected the other candidate (we were only 2 in the final stage). If the hiring manager cannot be bothered to write an email to a candidate that spent over a month in their recruitment process, that says something about them.
