I applied online and was invited to a recruiter screening. The recruiter did not seem invested right from the start nor like he was paying much attention. I promptly answered all questions thoroughly, and after each of my responses, there was a long silence from the recruiter, at times up to 8-10 seconds long. This resulted in the discussion not feeling conversational whatsoever, and led me to believe he was using AI - generated questions in realtime. At one point, I asked about travel and he mentioned that enterprise CSMs travel once a month - I did not apply for enterprise, I applied for CSM III, and his invite to the call indicated that as well. Overall, not a great experience. Did not feel like I was speaking with someone who was genuinely interested in hearing if I was a good fit.
