The actual interview process was normal. I recieved a schedule notification ahead of time and logged in 5 minutes early. The notification made it seem like a 1-on-1 interview but in reality it was a 3-person panel—one person could not attend at the last minute and instead sent questions. Conversation was pleasant and I felt I answered all questions within the best of my ability. The whole process was slated for an hour and we used up 45 minutes. At the end of the interview, I was told I'd be in contact for second interviews the following week, with offers going out the week after. I sent a thank you e-mail that afternoon but received no further communication or thank you message. After a week, I followed up to answer any lingering questions and obtain additional information for future conversations. Again, silence. This morning I received the generic Work Day message that says my resume was reviewed and they would be moving forward with other candidates. It's very dissappointing to be included in the interview process and not have the courtesy of further communication or even a personal message stating I would not be moving forward. While the interview was professional, the follow-up and follow-through portions were severly lacking.
