I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Sanmina in Oct 2010
Interview
A couple of phone interview with the recruiter. Then I was brought in for an in-person interview. I first met with the recruiter, then the hiring manager and one other manager I would be supporting. Then I was asked to recreate a ppt presentation (see how much I could do and how accurate in one hour). Just as a side note, throughout my career, every time I have been brought in for an in-person I have always been made an offer.

I applied online. I interviewed at Sanmina (Huntsville, AL) in Aug 2017
Interview
I was impressed that we bypassed the obligatory "let's redundantly discuss your résumé" portion and skipped right to the questions and dialogue part of the interview.
We spent about 20 minutes touching on critical aspects of the position, and then about 10 minutes exchanging a few questions.
