Telephone interview for the role and then a face to face
There was not many commercial knowledge questions which I was surprised about, mainly they concentrated on myself and my back ground and how adaptable I would be to new challenges.
The interviewer was very friendly, so really they asked
- Tell me about yourself
- Why Abbey National ( Just previous to Santander taking over)
- Teamwork, leadership and adapting to change
Also very important was whether you could be trusted

I was outsourced to Krakow and interviewed by a friendly yet very difficult to understand interviewer. The interview was very structured and highly impersonal. After passing the interview I was invited to an assessment center, which I initially accepted. I've attempted to get through to the Santander team to withdraw my application, however the response time has been so poor, I fear another candidate has lost their opportunity.
