I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Sapiens in Nov 2020
Interview
I had a 1 hour zoom call with the hiring manager and one of the team members. The call consisted of answering questions about skills related to the job. About half way through they noticed that my background was more of software development and they explained that this position was not a development role. I knew that going in and explained that is wasn't an issue. At this point it felt like they didn't believe that I was an engineer and so they started asking me programming related questions to a language that wasn't part of the job description. I don't have any issue answering programming questions, but if that is not in the job description then what is the point. Once they began with the unrelated questions I decided I didn't want to work with them. I answered the questions and ended the interview.
