Interview with Saritasa was one of my most pleasant interview experiences (and I had tens of interviews throughout my career). I was a Product/Project Manager candidate. The team was very professional and friendly. The interview process was organized and took almost a month. The team knew what they want to present from their company and culture, and what they are looking for in a candidate.
The first session was an introduction to Saritasa’s goals, culture, facilities, and type of projects, with a short Q&A at the end. There were a few other candidates in the session too. The team made sure the candidates understand the company and the type of work. There was no question for the candidates in this session. I personally liked the approach, since the introduction answered most of my questions and gave me an opportunity to ask some questions before even being interviewed.
In less than a week I was invited to the 1st round of interviews when I met two of their Product/Project managers. It was a 45-min interview and the questions were mostly general product and project questions related to my resume, plus asking my opinion about, and experience with certain websites, apps, technologies, etc.
A week later, I had the 2nd round with three other PMs. It was a 45-min interview as well and the questions were mostly situational.
I believe the goal of the first 2 rounds was to evaluate the technical knowledge and aptitude, plus the managerial skills in challenging situations, which was done properly in my opinion.
Then I was invited to the 3rd round with the CEO and the Director of Operations. They were both very smart and professional individuals. The purpose of the interview was mostly evaluating the interest and culture fit. The CEO also shared their vision for the future of the company and what kind of customer experience they are trying to create through their project management approaches.
Considering the size of the company, the structure of the team, and the business model, I liked the fact that the CEO gets actively involved with the hiring process.
