The interview process started off with getting a one-way video interview. This was then followed by a phone interview with the hiring manager. 3rd step was a in person interview with three people. First interview was with 2 peers followed by a one on one with the head of Planning. This was then supposed to bo follwed up with yet another in person interview with the hiring manager and that is when things went south.
Everyone I interviewed with was great and very professional. Communication with HR though was horrible. Initial in person interview was cancelled with hiring manager due to scheduling issue. Was told via voicemail to contact them to reschedule. I called back same day and left voicemail. No response. Followed up with email. No response. Followed up with yet another email a week later. No response. Two months later I get an automated email that I was no longer being considered for the job. Followed up with same HR contact again asking for some feedback from my interview to help understand why. No response.
HR is the face of your company with candidates and I have had some HR experiences with past jobs where communication was not the best but after some follow up the process moved forward and in both cases I got the job. This was by far the worst experience and was very unprofessional.
