The recruitment department contacted me, mentioning that they had two roles available that I looked like I'd be a good fit for. I was invited to a 1/2 hour telephone interview to discuss the roles further, which required me to take time out of my work day. I was asked three questions for the entire telephone interview, which lasted for approximately five minutes, after which I was told that I was unsuitable for either job. One of the roles required biotech experience, which it was clear on my CV that I did not have. The other role which was mentioned to me apparently required project management, which was not mentioned at all on the job advert, and I was dismissed for that role, despite having highly relevant experience. I took time out of my day to attend an interview that would have been completely unnecessary had anyone in the recruitment department actually bothered to read my CV through.

There were three different interview stages: phone screening call with HR, chat with the potential supervisor about the job role, and a personality screening with a department head at a larger Sartorius office.
