I applied online. I interviewed at Savers (Peterborough, ON) in May 2016
Interview
It was a list of prescribed questions, where they write the answers in the blanks on the page. It felt very corporate. I was called in for a second interview and was asked exactly the same questions again. I was lead to believe that someone in my position only made "slightly more than minimum wage" but I'm not sure that's actually accurate. It caused me to low blow in my salary negotiation, which I regret. Afterwards, they show you the goings on of the store, especially the back room where all of the production goes on.

Question 1
Talk about a time when you did something you were proud of. Describe your leadership style. Do you like Halloween?
Met with the store manager who gave a tour of the workplace, explaining how the business worked. Then proceeded with a more traditional interview in the management office with the typical questions.

Question 1
What does the phrase "sense of urgency" mean to you?
Two sit-down interviews with the retail sales manager and store manager, and you would also meet the district manager so they can get a feel of you and how you would jell well with the company.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Savers in May 2021
Interview
Really easy with lots of event based questions depending upon the job requirements. I can say, giving examples makes it more easy for them to understand the situation. Overall satisfied.
