      Onboarding Manager Interview

      Nov 13, 2025
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Savvy Wealth (New York, NY) in Nov 2025

      Interview

I was contacted for a preliminary screening after applying for the Onboarding Manager role. The recruiter rescheduled the interview for an earlier date, which I accommodated. What was supposed to be a 30 minute conversation was cut short to about 10 minutes. The questions were surface level and didn’t meaningfully assess my background, experience, or qualifications. Especially when asked directly, if there was anything I can clarify about my resume or experience. I followed up afterward, genuinely interested in the opportunity only to receive a templated rejection email stating the role was “now filled.” If that were truly the case, I question why I was interviewed at all. This experience felt rushed, disorganized, and disingenuous. As a qualified, diverse candidate, I left feeling like the company was never really considering me in the first place and that’s worth noting.

      Question 1

Am I okay with traveling into the office, where was I located, why do I think I’d be a good fit for the role

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Savvy Wealth (New York, NY) in Oct 2025

      Interview

They were very efficient the whole time, unlike a lot of other companies right now the entire process took 2 weeks, partly because of my own schedule. Had one screening call with the recruiter, a second round with my would be manager, and then a take home assignment that was presented in-person for the final round. I found the process pretty fair, and appreciate the quick turnaround.
