      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Savvy Wealth in Aug 2024

      Interview

The interview process consisted of a phone screen with a Recruiter, a video interview with the Hiring Manager (COO), an interview with the Head of Finance & BizOps, and then a final video interview round that included the Chief of Staff, the the CEO, and a take-home assignment review with the COO. The process was well organized and I felt like all the team members I met were well prepared for their interviews and asked thoughtful questions that addressed the operational, strategic & and team culture aspects of the People function effectively. The take home assignment revolved around building a strategic approach to creating a code of conduct and incident management policy, and discussing what best practices look like and how they might be applied in different situations in the workplace. I appreciated that the structure provoked good discussion during the take-home review without requiring too much at-home time investment during the process. There was a bit of a delay at the end of the process before a decision was reached, but the hiring manager was very communicative & transparent about the process and timing, so I was always kept in the loop while the interview process wrapped up.
