I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Scorpion (Dallas, TX) in Oct 2020
Interview
I had a applied for a completely different position with Scorpion in mid-2020 that I didn’t get. Luckily, the Director of Talent Acquisitions and I got a long really well and stayed in contact over the next several months. When a couple positions came available on the content development team, he immediately thought of me and reached out to gauge my interest. It was a very speedy process. My conversation with Seth (the Director of Talent Acquisition) was on a Wednesday, I completed a writing assessment that same evening, the following Tuesday I interviewed with the VP of Content Development, and that Friday I was made an offer. One thing to note is I didn’t have to redo the personality assessments/tests again, which was a relief becuase I felt like I barely made it through them.
The interview process was great. The hiring managers really take the time to get to know you, and discover your strengths and weaknesses. It was more like an informal conversation, and it made the process a lot easier!
