I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Scotiabank (Toronto, ON) in Feb 2019
Interview
There was a video interview that followed the online application, then two in person interviews on site. They mainly asked behavioural questions, about how to work with a team, what are some current economic trends, how do you solve problems, etc. They were mainly looking to see your personality and confidence.
One way interviews are tough to get right if you’re not prepared enough or you are not in a very comfortable setting. Prepare and read over your resume multiple times to not get caught off guard or panic
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Scotiabank
Interview
Pretty straightforward. Interviewers were very nice and questions were mostly behavioural. Technical questions were not overly complex, and tested thought process and ability to think on the spot more than heavy technical knowledge.
The first round was Group coffee chat. It is in a group of 10-12 people. It is virtual. It is semi-formal round just to introduce each other and expalining the further rounds and how internship works in the company.
