I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Scotiabank (Toronto, ON) in Feb 2020
Interview
Applied through an internal employee referral. I was contacted for an interview around two weeks later. There were two interviewers who were very friendly and asked simple, behavioral and situational questions. Heard back around two weeks later through the recruiter's email.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
1. Tell us about yourself.
2. What do you know about our department and why did you choose this role?
3. Some of the tasks in this role are pretty repetitive. How will you ensure productivity?
4. Give me an example of a time you had to deal with a difficult team member.
One way interviews are tough to get right if you’re not prepared enough or you are not in a very comfortable setting. Prepare and read over your resume multiple times to not get caught off guard or panic

Interview
Pretty straightforward. Interviewers were very nice and questions were mostly behavioural. Technical questions were not overly complex, and tested thought process and ability to think on the spot more than heavy technical knowledge.
The first round was Group coffee chat. It is in a group of 10-12 people. It is virtual. It is semi-formal round just to introduce each other and expalining the further rounds and how internship works in the company.
