I applied in-person. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Scotiabank (Toronto, ON)
Interview
The interview process at Scotiabank was transparent and well-organized. It began with a phone screening, followed by a behavioral interview with the branch manager, focusing on customer service skills, teamwork, adaptability, and handling real-life client scenarios effectively.
I went through eight rounds of interviews, meeting with everyone from associates to the General Counsel and ultimately the Chief Legal Officer. After the third interview, I was even assigned a project related to subpoenas, which I completed thoroughly. Despite all that time, effort, and demonstrated commitment, I was not offered the role. It was a completely exploitative and disrespectful use of my time a process that felt less like recruitment and more like free labor under the guise of evaluation.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Scotiabank (Houston, TX) in Mar 2025
Interview
Did two rounds of interviews, each round consisted of three interviewers. There are both techs and behaviors for each round. The entire process went relatively fast, took less than 4 weeks.
