I applied in-person. I interviewed at Scotiabank (Toronto, ON) in Sep 2019
Interview
I got a face- to - face interview scheduled in a week after posting my resume for the job application. The interview was easy and I was informed I cleared it. However the hiring manager wanted to go through a few more candidate profiles before taking a decision.
A week later I received an email asking my salary expectations. On quoting the very basic market rate, I got an instant reply that an old contractor wanted to come back so the position got cancelled.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Scotiabank (Toronto, ON) in May 2016
Interview
After a brief chat with HR I was scheduled an interview with two peers. Average interview, they were neither friendly or unfriendly. No technical questions, most conversation was process related.
I did not hear from them for a week and called the recruiter. A hour later received a no-reply rejection email from HR. I was unable to get any further feedback - all my attempts to contact them were ignored.
