I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Scouting America
Interview
Took forever. I believe there were 6 separate interviews before I was hired. Very thorough. They call the initial interview "panning for gold" because it really is a cattle call of everybody who has applied. Then they narrow it down. I met with one executive and I passed the test with him. Passed me along to others. I came back to the building 6 separate times. Enjoyed my 5 years with the Boy Scouts. Others went through the same interview process but only lasted a few months.

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Scouting America (Milwaukee, WI) in Jun 2016
Interview
Interview was fairly easy, some general customer service questions, meet with the local council CEO, meet with your district chairman and Commissioner. Aside from that it's just a standard onboarding interview process. If you truly want the job and you are qualified (graduated from a college with a 4 year degree in something) you shouldn't have any issues with the interview.

Interview
1st interview was with front line supervisors, 2nd with director and 3rd with CEO. Application was similar to filling out an SF-86 for a federal background. Interviews were very friendly. The whole process took over a month. They may contact people in your community as well they should, to see if you have the right reputation and disposition for this job which can be high profile.
