I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Scribd Inc. (San Francisco, CA) in Apr 2018
Interview
Interview consisted of an initial phone call with the manager with technical questions, and then an onsite portion in San Francisco where I talked to 4 people plus the recruiter. All travel was covered and conveniently arranged including car pick up at SFO. The people here seemed to enjoy each other and it felt like a family atmosphere. Although I won't be ultimately joining them, it was a good experience.

Interview
1. initial phone screen with recruiter
2. technical screen with an engineer
3. coding skill check using coderpad
the process itself did seem a bit disorganized.
I did not enjoy any part of the entire process. During the coderpad session I was told that devops is a very stressful job, and something I will have to deal with.
After working in the industry for 10+ years, this was not anything new to me, but this was by far my worst interviewing experience so far.
