Interview
Offshore recruiting with absolutely no ability or authority to veer from their script (which they have significant trouble reading). The woman I spoke with was unable to answer even the most basic questions about the role I was apparently being considered for and clearly did not understand anything that I was saying. She asked me if I had any Rails experience and I mentioned the fact that the last four positions on my CV were all working in Rails, adding that I had been following the framework since before its v1 release. She then asked me what other languages I knew so I rattled them off, ending with "Ruby" since that was kind of a given. Her very next question was "Okay, so you've worked with Ruby for a while but have you ever worked with Ruby on Rails?" I was utterly dumbfounded at that point.
She said she'd submit my profile to the hiring manager but I honestly don't think I'm going to respond even if I do get picked out of their hat. This is clearly not a company that invests in its people.

start with recruiter screening - hiring manager - virtual onsite. hiring manager went over the team and then asked few behavioral questions. In virtual onsite there will be 2 rounds coding and system design
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
what are the projects you have worked on previously?
The interview went okay. Mostly behavioural questions were asked in first interview. I could gauge that internal team structure was missing and probably the interview was a front to hire someone internal. Received an email 15 minutes after the first interview that they have hired someone else.
The interview formats were typical, though most rounds felt very disorganized and unprepared. I was made to feel very confident that I was going to receive an offer after the final rounds, and then fence posts kept moving until I was told otherwise. I left feeling that my time was wasted by the recruiter, and that the company's standards for professionalism were quite low.
