Brief tech interview, not very hard, then technical homework. Really awesome task, a lot of fun coding that. Task was very challenging, yet very interesting, though. There is not time limit, but they ask to be reasonable.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Mostly questions regarding C++ and data structures
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ScyllaDB in Jan 2023
Interview
First stage with very basic C++ questions and Leet code medium
The second stage with test assignment:
The library on which I had to base my assignment task was very poorly documented with a small number of examples that don't follow the good practices required by the reviewer.
Looks like nobody cares if it builds/installs properly either.
The person providing feedback was also not aware of good practices regarding architecture and C++ repository structure.
Overall if you are not familiar with the mentioned "library" most likely you'll waste your time.
