I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Seamless
Interview
Applied for a Content Strategist/Copywriter position. Had a phone screen with HR and it went really well. The woman from HR was very polite and professional. Next week I had a video interview with two managers from the team.
The vibe of these two people was very fake and plastic. Very "we love overwhelmingly intense startup sales culture!" attitude from both of them. Immediately turned me off to the company and position.
On top of that, the job wasn't really content strategy or copywriting, but rather screenwriting, ebook ghostwriting, and online course creation for their insane CEO who does posts multiple "sales tips" YouTube videos a day to their channel. By the end of the interview I felt like I was applying to join a cult.
They never followed up with me after the second interview. Which is just as well. No sane person would accept that position after hearing what they're really looking for. Months later and I see the position is still posted. Hard pass from me, and apparently many others.
